Arriving fashionably late to the party, Bandai Namco and From Software have teamed up again to extend the longevity of their recent hit Dark Souls II. Arriving with not just one but three new DLC addons, Dark Souls II will be receiving the series’ first Season Pass.
Dubbed the ‘Lost Crowns Trilogy’, the upcoming DLC for Dark Souls II forces players to face their fears once more in a slew of entirely new environments. The first chapter in the trilogy, Crown of the Sunken King, sends players on a journey to recover the crowns of the Drangleic King Vendrick. The crown lays hidden within a vast underground cavern filled with stepped pyramids.
DLC of Crown of the Sunken King will be available in Europe and Australasia (and most likely North America) on July, 22, 2014 for PC and Xbox / July 23 for PlayStation 3
DLC of Crown of the Old Iron King is scheduled for August 26, 2014 for PC and Xbox / August 27 for PlayStation 3
DLC of Crown of the Ivory King will conclude the trilogy on September 23, 2014 for PC and Xbox / September 24 for PlayStation 3.
The Season Pass for Dark Souls II is priced at $24.99, with each of the three DLC chapters priced individually at $9.99.
