Watch Dogs is finally about to release next Tuesday after a long delay, so there have been plenty of promotion for the game, but today we have something a little different. Hacking is a major part of Watch Dogs, so Ubisoft has partnered with Motherboard in a promotional sense to tell us of some real life hacking stories in what is known as Phreaked Out.
Ahead of the release of the game, episode 1 of Phreaked Out has released, which focuses on an incident in Los Angeles back in 2006 where two traffic engineers hacked into the system and altered traffic lights and such as part of a labor union protest. These episodes really don’t have much to do with Watch Dogs themselves, but are interesting to check out and Ubisoft thought enough of them to promote them under the Watch Dogs name.
