During last month’s Super Smash Bros. themed Nintendo Direct, we learned of another alternate costume in the game, besides Wii Fit Trainer’s male version, with Little Mac’s wire frame costume from the original arcade version. We only get a quick look at it in the Direct, but now we have a clear look at the costume in today’s daily image.
Pic of the day. Here’s wire frame Little Mac–re-envisioned from the original Punch-Out!! game. The man that actually drew the pixel art wire frame in the original was none other than Shigeru Miyamoto. He said he drew the pixels for the wire frame on graph paper.
I’m still hoping that we will see a lot of alternate costumes like this in the final game, though we have only seen a couple so far. Stay tuned in the near future for my list of my most wanted alternate costumes in the event we get them.
