Nintendo may not have sold many units of the Wii U, but the 3DS seems to be doing well.
For the year of 2013, Nintendo sold 12.26 million units of the 3DS. This figure also includes sales from the 2DS design. It’s slightly lower than the 13.95 million units sold in 2012, but it did help sales of the console get over the 43 million mark.
Software 3DS sales were impressive. 67.89 million games were sold in 2013 compared to the 36 million games sold in 2012. Pokemon X and Y was the best selling game with 12.26 million units sold worldwide.
