Released mere hours after its initial reveal in Japan, Capcom has brought a full-fledged Monster Hunter title to iOS devices. Titled Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (P2ndGi for short), Capcom has become a wizard and brought the full hunting experience to the mobile platform.
Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G features all of the trappings of the typical hunting action game. Single player quests, large-scale hunts, local and online multiplayer. For those that aren’t accustomed to touch controls, Capcom has also implemented support for MFi controllers. The display even comes in at beyond standard HD, with up to 2048×1536 resolution for those interested in playing Monster Hunter on the latest iPad. To play Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, you’ll need access to the Japanese App Store and own an Apple device newer than 5th gen (Ipod Touch 5th gen, iPhone 4S, iPad 3 and up)
