Yesterday, Microsoft revealed major news that many thought, if it was going to happen, would be saved for E3 next month. However, Microsoft just couldn’t wait and announced that starting on June 9, there will be a new Xbox One SKU that does not come with a Kinect, with a price point of $399.99. Of course, with this news just coming out, GameStop has already revealed some special trade in deals for those looking to trade up to next-gen with this new Xbox One SKU.
By trading in a 4 GB Xbox 360 or a 12 GB PlayStation 3, you will receive $75 in trade-in credit, or $85 if you are a PowerUp Pro Rewards member. If you trade in a 250 GB or larger Xbox 360, or a PlayStation 3 with a hard drive 20 GB or larger, you will receive $125, or $135 if you are a PowerUp Pro Rewards member.
You can go ahead and trade in your consoles now and get your systems pre-ordered at your local Gamestop.
