Just yesterday, we brought you a number of new images from the upcoming The Evil Within that we told you was coming this August. However, plans have changed as the release date for the game has now been pushed back to October.
Considering the horror theme of the game, the now October 21 release date is a little more fitting by being right before Halloween. However, it now puts it up against much more competition than its original August release date, with the big hitters like Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty always releasing around that time of year.
In addition to the delay news, Bethesda Softworks has also revealed a pre-order incentive for the game with The Fighting Chance Pack. This pack will includes a medical kit, green gel, double barrel shotgun and three shells, an incendiary agony bolt, and a poison agony bolt. Looks for The Evil Within for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 21.
