For fourteen years, gamers in China could not get foreign gaming consoles because of a ban by the government, but luckily that was lifted back in January. Only a few months have passed since the decision, but now Microsoft has revealed that they will be bringing the Xbox One to China this coming September.
With Microsoft gradually expanding its Xbox One to new markets, there is little surprise with this news overall. There are still rules in place, but as long as you have a deal with a company within the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, which Microsoft does, you can sell your console in their country. Along with China, the Xbox One will be launching in 26 new markets this September.
