When Xbox One was first released, gamers were able to record clips through Game DVR, but only able to upload it through what was known as SkyDrive, and now known as OneDrive. You could technically download from that and upload to YouTube, but it was a major pain. The good news is that it has now been revealed that actual uploading from within the YouTube app is coming in a new update today.
The process is very simple now with uploading through YouTube. All you have to do is record your footage through Game DVR and then edit it through Upload Studio. Then all you have to do is go to the updated YouTube app and look for My Uploads. I know this will be a great feature for games like Madden where you want to upload a quick clip after an epic touchdown, or even a great killing spree in Titanfall. Make sure to update your YouTube app today to get access to this brand new feature.
