When Titanfall launched for Xbox One and March 11, Xbox Live was plagued with a number of issues that day due to the massive number of people playing the game. As a result, they are now crediting some gamers’ accounts with an extra seven days to make up for the outage.
Certain gamers have started to receive the following message through their Xbox Live messages.
We know you experienced an issue signing in on your Xbox One on 3/11/2014. We apologize and will soon give you 7 days of Xbox Live Gold for your inconvenience.
The question now is whether every gamer will get this or just the ones that signed on that day, as it would be near impossible to know who actually was affected by the outage. Make sure to check your messages to find out soon!
