With Tropico 5 close to taking over our PCs in only about a month and a half, Kalypso Media has revealed that those who pre-order the game or pick up a boxed copy at launch will be getting a little more than just the game. This special launch edition will be known as the Tropico 5 Limited Special Edition.
Within this special edition, you will find download codes for the “Bayo del Olfato” map for sandbox mode as well as a “snazzy” avatar costume for your El Presidente in the game. However, that is not all as you will get a couple physical items as well with an authentic passport from Tropico, along with a specially designed Tropico postcard.
For those that are not interested in the retail version of the game, Tropico 5 is already available for pre-order through Steam Pre-Purchase, which will give you a 10% off discount on the game. You will also receive the “Isla de Vapor’ sandbox map and a “Businessman” avatar costume as a digital exclusive. More digital pre-order bonuses are possible depending on the number of eventual pre-orders.
