With somewhat weak launch lineups for both next-gen consoles last November, Ryse: Son of Rome stood out as one of the better options out there thanks to fantastic graphics and fun gameplay. Since then, we’ve received two sets of DLC and now the third has finally been released with a title reminiscent of Star Wars, “Duel of Fates.”
Crytek and Microsoft announced the release of this new DLC pack that includes three new maps that are based on actual historical events. Two of them are arena mode round-to-round maps, “Invictus” and “Barbarous,” while the third is a survival map titled “Island.” However, that isn’t all as you will also receive two new gladiator skins based on the single player campaign with the game’s protagonist Marius Titus, as well as Glott the barbarian chief.
Look for the “Duel of Fates” DLC pack right now for $8.99, or if you have the Season Pass for the game you can download it at no additional cost.
