The RetroN 5 is an old school gamer’s dream, with the ability to play a number of different classic cartridge based platforms all in one system. The wait has been a long one but it is almost over according to Hyperkin, who says the system will be released within the next 30 days.
In a video interview with Video Game Rescue on YouTube, a representative from Hyperkin named Justin discussed the console itself and mentioned that the game was incredibly close to release. He said that the system has only been delayed due to some production errors, but they have fixed that and they are being produced right now. He has even seen a finished boxed system himself.
For those that do not know, the RetroN 5 is able to play NES, Famicon, SNES, Super Famicon, Genesis, Megadrive, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color and Game Boy games. You can check out the full interview for yourself below, where he also teases that we will hear some big RetroN related information at E3.
