The RetroN 5 is getting closer to launch with a release supposed to be coming in the next 30 or so days according to an interview with someone from Hyperkin earlier this week. However, some bad news has come out as the system is going to cost you a little more than previously thought if you haven’t pre-ordered yet.
Amazon has now removed pre-orders off their site, which is likely due to an interview from someone at Hyperkin with the PS Nation Podcast, who said that the system will launch likely somewhere between $129 and $139. The original sale price was $99.99 on sites like Amazon and Newegg, which luckily thanks to pre-order price guarantees, those who got them on those sites will retain their original price.
