The long awaited PS4 upate 1.70 is coming on April 30th PlayStation Europe has confirmed.
PlayStation Europe tweeted the following message:
Heads-up: PS4 firmware update 1.70, inc. SHAREfactory and HDCP Off, goes live on 30th April. More soon!
The biggest addition is the SHAREfactory. This is where you can edit and compile videos. You can add music and do other cool stuff to PS4 gameplay footage.
You can also pre-download games from the PSN. If you pre-order a game, you no longer have to wait to download it as it will be playable the moment the release day hits.
There will be more improvements made to update 1.70 for the PS4. Sony should reveal more on it next week.
