During last night’s information filled Nintendo Direct, Masahiro Sakurai showcased just about anything that you can imagine from the upcoming Super Smash Bros. This included characters, items, Poke Balls, and also the incredible awesome Assist Trophies that were first introduced in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Some of these Assist Trophies were returning and new ones that we had already learned about, but some were new reveals for the game. The full rundown of trophies in the Nintendo Direct can be seen below:

Knuckle Joe (Kirby Series)
Saki Amamiya (Sin & Punishment Series)
Lyn (Fire Emblem)
Nintendog (Nintendogs Series)
Waluigi (Mario Series)
Dr. Wright (SimCity Series)

All but Samurai Goroh were actually seen in a segment dedicated to Assist Trophies, but Samurai Goroh was shown earlier when explaining how Assist Trophies only run at 30 FPS rather than 60 FPS like the rest on the Nintendo 3DS version. There are still plenty more to reveal I’m sure, butt he segment of all of the rest of the Assist Trophies we know of can be seen in the video below:
