Just like many other game series in the 1990s, Mega Man got a cartoon of its own from Capcom and Ruby-Spears in 1994 that ran in syndication for 27 episodes across two seasons. The series received a DVD release date in 2003, followed by a partial release in 2009, but now it has been revealed that the series is getting another full series release soon.
Thanks to Discotek Media, the full Mega Man cartoon series from Ruby-Spears is getting a re-release on DVD, this time with a really cool custom DVD cover that looks like a classic NES boxart. The box even has pseudo wear and tear to emulate an old NES box. The set is scheduled to release on September 30, 2014, so we are only a few months away from getting our hands on it.
