Capcom has revealed that Ultra Street Fighter IV will include a “Select Edition” mode that allows you to pick fighters from across the different versions of the game.
This game has been re-released many times as there is Street Fighter IV, Super Street Fighter IV, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Arcade Edition Version 2012 and now Ultra Street Fighter IV. You can select which version of each fighter you want to play as.
You may think what is the point in all this? Well in each version, some characters have been changed in terms of their moves and much much damage they do. If you liked Ryu from Street Fighter IV, you can pick him to face Ryu from Ultra Street Fighter IV. I guess this is a way to please fans that may not be pleased with all the balancing Capcom has done to the characters all of the years.
Ultra Street Fighter IV will be released this June for the Xbox 360 and PS3 with the PC version out shortly after.
