Sony may have underestimated the demand for the PlayStation Camera and is asking fans to be patient.
The PlayStation Camera for PS4 has sold over 900,000 units so far. This is roughly 15% of all PS4 owners so far.
Sony’s Chris Norden announced this during Sony’s press conference at the 2014 GDC event. He mentioned that supply for the PlayStation Camera is constrained at the moment and is asking fans to be patient.
If you already have the camera now, consider yourself to be lucky because they are hard to come by right now.
