Months ago we told you about a tease by Shaquille O’Neal that a sequel to the critically panned Shaq-Fu would be coming in the future. Most saw this as a joke, but it is very real as an Indiegogo campaign has been launched to finance a sequel to this cult classic on PC, and possibly mobile devices.
The campaign acknowledges how disappointingly bad the original is and says this is the game the original should have been by moving from a fighting game to a beat-em-up. They are asking for $450,000 to fund this game, so we will have to see how they much nostalgia helps with this funding. Shaq will be funding a good portion of the game himself, so this is just extra and 5% of the profits from the game will go to the Boys & Girls Club.
