Thanks to the successful launch of the PS4 in Japan, the console has now sold over 6 million units worldwide.
The PS4 only came out last November and has already passed the Wii U in terms of overall sales. Sony should be proud of the success of the console so far as their goal was to reach 5 million sales by the end of March. The console is now available in 57 countries worldwide.
In terms of software sales, 13.7 million PS4 games have been sold worldwide with Killzone: Shadow Fall being its best seller. The Sony exclusive shooter has now sold over 2.1 million unit worldwide.
