Ever since its reveal a few years ago, one of the biggest problems for the Wii U has been its marketing, due to its confusing name that led many to think it was merely an add-on. Interestingly, Nintendo of Japan is trying something pretty unique to show off some of the features of the console for the uninformed.
These images utilize popular Nintendo characters like Mario, Peach, and Yoshi to showcase some of the features like off-TV play and even karaoke. The art is definitely in an old school style, looking more like the designs from the 1990s when we had TV series based on the Mario series. Check out all four of the images below:
