Square Enix has recently revealed that Thief outputs at a native 1080p resolution on PlayStation 4 and a native 900p resolution on Xbox One.
The information was confirmed during an interview Eurogamer had with Square Enix. Other games such as Call of Duty: Ghosts and Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes also output at lower resolutions on Microsoft’s Xbox One.
Commenting on the resolution difference game director Nicolas Cantin explained that it “doesn’t make much of a difference” and that “You really need good eyes to see the difference”. Alongside the news also confirmed was that both console versions run at 30 fps resulting in the Xbox One version being “as good as the PS4 version”.
