Telltale Games has announced that the first details on Tales From the Borderlands will be revealed at a panel at SXSW 2014 alongside Gearbox. The panel, titled “Two Sides to Every Story – Tales from the Borderlands Unveiled at SXSW“, will see Gearbox president Randy Pitchford and Telltale president Kevin Bruner, along with others, talking about their partnership and what’s in store for this narrative-driven episodic series.
Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask the panelists about Tales from the Borderlands, gaining more insight on what’s to come. The panel will run from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. on March 8th at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas. The entire SXSW 2014 event spans March 7th to March 9th.
Similar to Telltale’s The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands is planning a multiplatform release that will extend to PC, consoles and mobile devices. A date has yet to be given, but we can expect to see these wannabe vault hunters this year.
