WARNING! CHALLENGER APPROACHING! Based on past update trends, many speculated that we may see the announcement of the return of a certain fighter for Super Smash Bros. due to the Japanese release of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. However, we had to wait a week longer for the US release of the game, but it was worth it as Diddy Kong has officially been announced as returning in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
Some were hoping that we may see the announcement of a Diddy Kong/Dixie Kong tag-team being added, but it looks as if that won’t be happening based on today’s update.
