Ever since the Xbox One launched back in November, we have been waiting for the first system update to see what Microsoft would add. The update was originally scheduled for earlier this week, but was delayed at the last minute. However, that update has started to officially roll out now for your Xbox One consoles.
This update adds a few highly requested features, such as a battery indicator for the controller and the ability to manage storage space, among some other smaller fixes.
The Xbox One update should download automatically at some point, even if your system is turned off. Upon turning on the console, your system will update very quickly and you will be good to go. The roll outs started yesterday, but my system received the update overnight, so if you do not have it yet, keep an eye out for it very soon.
