Pokémon X and Pokémon Y launched back in October on the Nintendo 3DS and have been major successes since release, both critically and in sales. Following release, everyone was waiting for the release of Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter so that they could import and store their Pokemon from the sixth generation games. However, after a terrible Japanese launch, the release in the west was pushed back.
Luckily for gamers in the US, both apps are officially available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop as of now. A good sign of its impending release came earlier this week when it was released in Europe without warning, but we weren’t sure if they may have to stagger the two releases a bit after the debacle before that crashed the eShop. It appears that everything went well this time and as a result, both Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter are available in the US right now.
Don’t forget that you also get a free 30 day trial for downloading the apps, so make sure to do so and get your free event Celebi before March 14!
