From the very second it was announced last year by Nintendo, X from Monolith Soft has been one of the most hotly anticipated games for the Wii U, but we had only had the initial teaser trailer to keep us occupied. However, that all changed yesterday during the new Nintendo Direct, as we received the first gameplay footage for the RPG.
As essentially a spiritual successor to Xenoblade, X takes a good bit from the very well received Wii title in its combat style, but is even more polished. Going from regular on the ground combat to riding around in a mech suit, X looks like it could potentially be one of the best games on the Wii U when it comes out.
