Warner Bros. has revealed it will be making an official Minecraft movie.
Minecraft creator Marcus “Notch” Persson made the announcement himself on twitter:
Someone is trying leak the fact that we’re working with Warner Brothers on a potential Minecraft Movie. I wanted to be the leak!
Warner Bros. has found huge success with the recently released The LEGO Movie. Minecraft as a whole has sold over 30 million units so there is certainly a lot of fans already. It will be interesting to see what type of plot the movie will have.
It’s unknown at this stage if the movie will be animated, live action or a bit of both. Some people are already predicting it will be a huge blockbuster (sorry).
