The LEGO Movie Videogame managed to outsell Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII in its debut in the UK.
Final Fantasy games are usually popular, but it seems no many people bought Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. The LEGO Movie Videogame took out the top spot with Call of Duty: Ghosts hanging in at second place.
I’m sure Square Enix will be slightly disappointed with the sales of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII so far. Even in Japan the sales of the game were far less than the previous two games in the series.
Square Enix is likely to bounce back with the releases of Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III on the horizon.
