In something that I personally could see becoming a trend in the future, Xbox One owners that subscribe to certain cable providers can watch the first episode of the new FX animated series titled Chozen early.
For subscribers of AT&T U-Verse, Comcast, Cablevision, Suddenlink, and WOW, you can download the FXNOW app on your Xbox One and connect it to your provider for access to tons of FX content, including the first episode of Chozen, a week in advance. For those that know nothing about the show, the description is as follows:
Chozen is an animated comedy about the title character, a gay white rapper fresh out of prison. Armed with a new message, Chozen is on a quest for redemption and to claim his rightful position as the world’s top rap artist. With a new world view shaped by his time in prison, Chozen’s music and lyrics take aim at the stereotypes of machismo and misogyny that are synonymous with rap music.
The executive producers of the series are made up of people who have brought us Eastbound & Down and Archer, among other shows, so if you are a fan of those types of shows, you may want to check this one out.
