Last year, a new model of the PlayStation Vita was announced that slimmed down the handheld, along with some other changes like 1 GB of internal memory and a better battery. Now, that model is making it’s way to the west next week as the PlayStation Vita Slim in Europe.
Sony UK held an event today that unveiled this device and announced that it would be coming on February 7 to Europe for £180. This roughly translates to about $300 for those that are interested. Sadly, no release date was given for the US, but you would assume it is soon if Europe is getting it now. We will let you know as soon as we hear when it is coming to the US.
