The Far Cry series jumped back into the spotlight with the very successful Far Cry 3 in 2012. Now, Ubisoft has revealed that they are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the series by releasing a Far Cry collection exclusively for the PlayStation 3 in the US on February 11.
The Far Cry Collection will come with Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for $39.99 on the PlayStation 3 only.
However, Europe is getting a much better collection called Far Cry: The Wild Expedition. This bundle comes with the original Far Cry, Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon in one collection, for not only PlayStation 3, but also Xbox 360 and PC. Far Cry: The Wild Expedition will arrive in Europe on February 14. Perhaps the US will eventually see this release, but it seems unlikely with them choosing to do the lesser collection in the US instead.
