Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has now sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
Bethesda wrote the following in a blog post about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim recently:
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim which was released in November 2011 and enjoyed worldwide critical and commercial success. Skyrim earned hundreds of ‘Game of the Year’ awards and sold over 20 million copies
It’s pretty cool how a game fantasy RPG game like Skyrim can sell over 20 million copies. The game was originally released in November 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The next game they will be making is The Elder Scrolls Online which will be out for the PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year.
