Streaming your PC content could be possible on the Xbox One eventually.
As of right now, DNLA support is not possible on the Xbox One (or PS4) even though it’s possible on both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
Major Nelson announced the following on twitter:
You know we’re looking to see what the right thing is. We noticed that some people were using that with Xbox 360. To be honest with you not a lot of folks were. There were certainly some enthusiasts using it on a regular basis but that wasn’t something that a lot of folks were doing
By the sounds of that, DNLA will only come on to Xbox One if there is enough demand for it. Still, it’s quite odd some features have been left out from the “next-gen” consoles.
