Deception IV: Blood Ties is the next entry in the long running Deception franchise, that first debuted on the original PlayStation. Known as Kagero: Dark Side Princess in Japan, Deception IV: Blood Ties is one of Tecmo Koei’s next games for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Now we have some gameplay footage in a new video released on YouTube.
Deception IV: Blood Ties actually goes back to the original release in the series, Tecmo’s Deception, for inspiration on its gameplay mechanics with a trap-based strategy element. We definitely see this in the new video, including such randomness as a pumpkin appearing on a character’s head after a trap.
