When the announcement that Disney had purchased Lucasfilm first happened, many wondered what would happen to game developer Lucasarts, which was eventually delegated to only casual games like Angry Birds Star Wars. EA took over developing any other games for Lucasfilm license as a result of this deal. One of the casualties of that announcement was the highly anticipated Star Wars 1313 that looked absolutely gorgeous.
Now that Star Wars 1313 is completely dead, the game’s creative director, Dominic Robilliard, has been officially hired by Sony Computer Entertainment America as a design director on an unnamed game. Robilliard’s LinkedIn page shows his new position, but does not specify what part of Sony he will be working for, as developers like Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica fall under that umbrella.
