The Call of Duty Championship event was first started last year as a way for professional gamers to face off against one another at Call of Duty. Activision has now announced that the second annual Call of Duty Championship will be held from March 28 to March 30 and will feature one million dollars in prizes.
This event will be the first professional Call of Duty event to be played on the Xbox One. The qualifying rounds will actually be played on Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Ghosts, but the regional finals and beyond will move to the Xbox One. The matches themselves will be streamed live on both MLG.TV and on Xbox Live.
