The daily updates for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS always catch my attention, though some aren’t quite as interesting. We already about the unveiling of Princess Zelda from today’s update, but there is another update from the other day that you may find interesting as well.
Through the official Super Smash Bros. website, Masahiro Sakurai showed off a brand new stage that is exclusive to the 3DS version of the game, Rainbow Road. Many, including myself, assumed that we would be seeing a Rainbow Road stage considering the reveal trailer for Rosalina and Luma, but I did not expect it to be a 3DS exclusive. From Miiverse, Sakurai had the following to say about the image:
Pic of the day. Happy Holidays! Here’s a new 3DS stage–Rainbow Road! It can’t be explained in one picture, but it’s going to be a cruise-type stage.
Based on the fun of past stages like this, Rainbow Road is bound to be a blast when we finally get our hands on it.
