The latest Nintendo Direct, which was focused almost exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS, revealed Miiverse on the 3DS would be coming in the next update over the next month or so. Now, it appears that update will be coming on Monday according to Emily Rogers, a very reliable source for Nintendo news.
Through the Twitter page of Emily Rogers, a source of lots of Nintendo news in the past, she tweeted “Monday night, after the maintenance, will be exciting for 3DS owners. I’m not allowed to say why, but I’m sure you can figure it out.”
This is very likely a reference to the upcoming update that will be bringing Miiverse and the Nintendo Network ID to the Nintendo 3DS. Considering Rogers’ track record, the odds of this being true are very likely, but we will have to wait and see for sure on Monday night.

December 6, 2013 at 9:06 PMIf I can make a Nintendo ID on my 3DS can I transfer it onto my Wii U? Because Internet works fine on my Wii U, it just won’t let me make a Nintendo ID.
