Tonight at 6 pm ET, the former Spike TV Video Game Awards, now rebranded as the VGX, will be streamed online from an abundance of sources. I just thought I’d go ahead and post this for those that care to watch it themselves at the time. We will of course be posting news and updates from the awards show tonight, but it’s always better to witness those world premiere trailers for the first time live.
The show’s schedule currently lists 12 World Premiere trailers, including some that are previously unannounced games. Nintendo is supposed to have their own little segment with Reggie Fils-Aime as part of their first appearance ever at the Video Game Awards.
For those looking to watch the show live, here is how the site says you will be able to do that.
VGX will be streamed across Xbox One, Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3 (PS3™), Twitch, iOS and Android devices, and available globally on VGXLIVE.com, Hulu, Yahoo Screen, the Yahoo Screen app and Viacom Media Networks properties Spike.com, ComedyCentral.com, MTV.com, MTV2.com, BET.com and GameTrailers.com. VGX will be live streamed for three-hours on Saturday, December 7, beginning at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT. Spike TV will also air highlights of the show as “VGX Replay” on Monday, December 9 at midnight.
