It has been revealed that Sony’s PS4 console has become the fastest selling video game console in the UK.
The PS4 came out in the UK on November 29th and the console sold like hotcakes in its first 48 hours. A source confirmed with Game Industry that the console sold just under 250,000 units. In comparison, the Xbox One sold around 150,000 units in its first two days in the UK. The Wii U has only sold 150,000 units for the entire year in the UK…
The PSP was the previous fastest selling console in the UK. The PS4 is already selling out all over the UK. Sony hopes to ship more consoles to retailers in time for Christmas. Get you orders in quickly as second shipments are likely to sell out too!
