Minecraft fans and Playstation fans alike have been awaiting when the two will meet on one platform and today is the day. Playstation 3 users will be able to purchase Minecraft starting today.
The initial release has set up a few questions but most of them will go unanswered as at this time there is no word if the Playstation 3 will be compatible in any way (Cross-Buy or otherwise) with the Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita versions due out next year. We did find out that there might be some Playstation exclusive skins in the works if it proves to be popular and normal texture packs and DLC are already planned and should be arriving soon after launch.
