Dean “Rocket” Hall earlier almost spilled the beans in an development stream about the release of DayZ Standalone Alpha and now the Early Access is out.
In a recent stream, Dean was talking about what the developers were doing over the weekend. Everything seemed completely normal until Dean almost spoke about “locking the build”. When a developer talks about locking a build, it usually means they are making preparations for a stable build of the program to be uploaded to Steam. So rumours were started that the DayZ Standalone might be here in time for Christmas. Now DayZ Early Access has been released on Steam with the warning that the game will have bugs and is an Alpha.
