Over the last multiple years, the Assassin’s Creed series has become an annual release that gamers can expect every October or November. Last year, we even got two with Liberation for the Vita.
Now Ubisoft is looking at the future of the series and Ubisoft Sofia producer Momchil Valentinov Gindyanov says that there is “definitely a possiblity” for two completely different Assassin’s Creed games to be released a year moving forward.
Examiner looked further into this possibility and actually found some very interesting information. According to their sources, Ubisoft has two Assassin’s Creed games in the works for 2014, one for the next-gen consoles and one for the last-gen consoles. The source did not say which of these the Wii U would fit under however. Ubisoft has confirmed nothing, so for now this is only a rumor, but with the talk about more than one game a year, it seems very plausible.
