When the PlayStation Vita got the latest firmware update last week that prepares the handheld for the upcoming release of the PS4, one of the features it adds is the ability to add up to 2000 friends via PSN, increasing the cap limit from 100 to 2000.
As of right now, only the PS Vita can add friends up to 2000. When the PlayStation 4 releases next week and you use your PlayStation Network account, your friend list from the PS Vita will be imported. For those who still on PlayStation 3, it will be filtered by your 100 most active friends.
The PlayStation 4 will be available in North America on November 15th. Check back with next week for our full coverage of the console.
