Gamers who picked up their PS4 today will most likely notice that there are times where they cannot connect on the PlayStation Network. If that happens to you, don’t panic! The server is simply overwhelmed and will require some time to recover.
Well, Sony has confirmed today that they are working hard to resolve the stability but it may take a few days for the service to settle down and run smoothly. The most common error codes people get are NW-31453-6 and NP-3500-8. If you get those error codes, simply try again later.
Cannot download the patch? Simply download it at Sony’s official firmware page and make sure you have a flash drive to install the firmware.
The PlayStation 4 is now available in North America for $399.99. For our on-going PS4 coverage, check out our dedicated page for the platform.
