Phenomenal Visuals
The PS4 no doubt is a huge leap over the PS3 in terms of visuals. Everything looks brighter and crisper than most games on the PS3. I remember going to a PlayStation event and the PS3 games on display looked good, but they weren’t as smooth as the games that were on the PS4. It’s also worth mentioning that games like Driveclub, Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack are early titles for the system. Once developers max out the console’s specs, games are only going to look better.
Strong Support
Although the launch lineup for the PS4 may be lacking, there is hope for the future as Sony promises there will be strong support for the system in the future. There are already 24 PS4 exclusives being developed from 14 high quality studios. You can be sure the likes of Naughty Dog, Media Molecule and Sony Santa Monica are currently making huge games for the PS4 right now. Not to mention there will be a ton of indie titles available as well as free-to-play video games too.
Sharing Gameplay Videos
One of the coolest feature that’s never been done in a console is the ability to share or stream what you’re playing to an online service like Twitch. For the past several years, streaming gameplay videos have been gaining popularity as it gives curious gamers a chance to see and get the feel of the game they’re looking forward to get. With the PS4, anyone from your friend list will be able to see what you are playing in just one press of a button on your DUALSHOCK 4 controller. Don’t like streaming? Well you can capture certain segments from your gameplay and save that raw video onto your hard drive! You don’t even need an expensive capture card like BLACKMAGIC Intensity Pro or Hauppauge TV Tuner!
