The very fun Pikmin 3 was a great experience for the Wii U when it was released a few months ago, which was further supplemented by some new Mission Mode DLC not too long ago. Now Nintendo has announced that the next round of DLC has hit for Pikmin 3 for only $1.99.
The pack of four stages is based on locations from the game’s Story Mode and is crawling with tons of hostile creatures. Like all the other stages in Mission Mode, these new challenges can be played solo or cooperatively with a friend. High scores earned in this mode will be displayed on a global rankings leaderboard, encouraging friendly competition with other players all around the world.
Just like with the previous DLC, you can sample one stage for free that will come through an automatic software update. You can then choose whether or not you want to buy the remaining stages in the new DLC.
