Sony has now confirmed that the upcoming Gran Turismo 6 will include microtransactions.
Gran Turismo 6 will be the first in the long running series that will allow gamers to pay real currency to purchase cars. You can use your real money to buy “in-game” currency. In the previous games, you would usually have to earn currency by winning races and selling off cars you no longer want.
The PlayStation Blog revealed that you can buy Gran Turismo 6 currency in blocks of “500K, 1 million, 2.5 million or 7 million credits”. They did not mention how much this translates into real currency…
